The Truth about Six Pack Abs – Doing Pilates on Your Own

Although there is tremendous benefit in utilizing Pilates, many people cannot afford the hefty price tag that comes with multiple Pilates sessions. The good news is that there are exercises that you can do on your own, and right in your own home. The first of these exercises is called the Hundred. Lay on your back, lift your legs a few inches off the floor, lift your head, neck and shoulders and extend your arms low and out to the side. Pump the arms while taking five quick the truth about six pack abs breaths in and five quick breaths out. Keep doing this until you have pumped your arms a total of one hundred times. Other effective exercises are the Roll Up (rolling your upper body from a lying position without your legs or feet coming up) and the Criss Cross which is similar to bicycle crunches. Don’t forget that these exercises, if done right, will create a flatter belly, but not necessarily six pack abs. The truth about six pack abs is that there is a lot more to it than Pilates.
